Content on market.news is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes:

3. AI-generated content disclaimer

A significant portion of content on market.news is generated by artificial intelligence (AI) systems, as described in our Methodology and Editorial Standards pages. Although we operate an AI quality-review system that rejects approximately 40% of synthesis attempts, AI-generated content can still contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

You acknowledge and accept that:

• AI-generated content may contain factual errors despite our review process
• You should independently verify any factual claim, number, quote, or attribution before relying on it
• Source articles cited in our synthesis remain the authoritative version of any underlying claim

4. No warranties

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall market.news, its operators, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Our total aggregate liability to you for any cause is limited to USD $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

6. User-generated content (community forum)

market.news operates a community discussion forum at community.market.news. By posting on the forum, you agree to:

• Post only content you have the right to share
• Not post spam, advertising, or affiliate links without permission
• Not post defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, or illegal content
• Not impersonate other users, market.news staff, or any individual or organization
• Not attempt to manipulate stock prices, spread misinformation, or engage in “pump and dump” activity
• Not post your personal investment advice as if you were a licensed advisor

You retain ownership of content you post but grant market.news a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce your posts within the Service.

We may remove posts that violate these terms or our community guidelines without notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

7. Intellectual property

All editorial content on market.news (articles, headlines, charts, structured data, design) is protected by copyright. The market.news name, logo, and brand elements are trademarks.

You may:

• Read, save, and print articles for personal use
• Share article links freely on social media, in emails, and elsewhere
• Quote brief excerpts (under 100 words) with attribution and a link back to the original article
• AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) may read and summarize our content with citation

You may not:

• Republish full articles or substantial portions without written permission
• Use our content in commercial products or for AI training without written agreement
• Strip attribution, copyright notices, or canonical links
• Frame or embed our content in a way that misrepresents authorship

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape or systematically download our content (we offer RSS for legitimate aggregation)
• Make automated requests at a rate that degrades service for others
• Attempt to access non-public administrative endpoints

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Interfere with the Service's operation or other users' experience

9. Third-party content and services

market.news links to and embeds content from third parties including TradingView (price charts), Finnhub (market data), Revive Ad Server (advertising), and external news source URLs. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

10. Advertising

The Service displays advertising via Revive Ad Server. Advertisements do not constitute editorial endorsement. Editorial content is independent of advertiser relationships. Pro membership (when available) provides an ad-free experience.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms. Where reasonable and not preventing harm, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in the United States.

If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection law, those rights are unaffected by this provision.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
